worried!!!! someone please help me i got a date for 02-28-05 but they did not say if my ins was approved i need to know if this is good news or maybe news !

Well it is good news if you want the surgery. As a rule they will not set a date with out insurance aproval. At least that is how my doctor works it. By the way my surgery is the same day as yours.

hi! I want to wish you two good luck with your surgeries! I'm so excited for you...and for me! I think it's true. The offices usually won't even consider a date without an approval from the insurance company first...if you really must know, call your insurance! That's what I did when I found out I was approved not 3days later! What do you know? approved!

Debbie, you are going to do just fine. Relax and make this month one of preparation for a new life. I had surgery on the 2nd and all went very very well. I'm right on schedule for everything and am so happy I made this decision--even though my insurance WAS denied and I paid out of pocket. I look at it as an "investment" in myself. I've lost 17 lbs since the 2nd and am walking a mile each day. Take care. Pat
