For all of the Feb. 10th surgeries/getting ready?

Well, we are nearly upon our new "loser" lives....... Would like to wish everyone a successful, surgery and a quick recovery!!!! What is everyone doing as far as prepping for the surgery the day before? How long are you scheduled to be in the hospital? I will be drinking a gallon of golightly/trilight every 15 minutes....I told everyone in my family to stay upstairs! as I'm sure it won't be pretty Also have to take 2 different kinds of antibiotics.....the last "round" being at 11pm....I can't sleep as it is, so it looks like an all-nighter for me I would also like to take this opportunity to again thank all of you who sent such warm wishes and support.....you are the best Please let me know how your surgeries go, okay???? Hi Liz, I am also scheduled for Feb. 10 in San Diego, CA. My Doc. just said not to eat after 10 a.m. on the 9th. I can have protein drinks but thats it. He didn't give me anything else to do. I thought I would do a liver cleanse in the morning and get everything cleared out. Good luck, and talk to you on the losing side. Mary

Hi Mary! Lucky you!....no running to the potty Well I had my breakfast early this morning. I usually get up at 3am, but was up at 12am due to my recent sleeping problem., which I hope will go away after this surgery....never had a problem sleeping before. In about 30 minutes I will be taking my first dose of Trylite. Then starting at 1pm I have to take 4 antibiotic pills in 4 increments, the last being at 11pm tonight. Are you paranoid, happy, or all of the above?? What type of WLS are you having? What time? How long are you scheduled to stay in the hospital? I hope I can con the Doc to let me go home early I am originally from So.California.......Love San Diego. Used to spend alot of time in the area around Del Mar when we had horses running.....love that place! (Also used to sneak into Mexico when ditching highschool) Miss that beautiful state....(where else can you go surfing and then snow skiing in the same day!) but not the people who have moved to the state in droves.
