Got home on Friday ...

Hi-I got home on Friday from my 2/1 surgery. Have to be honest, lots of pain in the hospital, (surgery was alittle more involved than usual). Really had second thoughts and was pretty miserable for 2 days!!!!! Good news though, I'm home and I feel really good and getting stronger each day. Treated myself to an Electric recliner for the recoup period and that has made things sooooo much easier. Now I just have to manage the fluids, doesn't seem to be enough time in the day to sip 64 oz. Does SF jello count as fluid? Looking forward to moving forward beginning this new journey.

Welcome home! I'm glad you are feeling better. As for jello being liquid, when I worked as an RN, we didn't count it. It's not liquid at room temperature. Some people here do, so I don't have the perfect answer for ya.

Don't stay in the recliner. You need to walk to prevent other complications. Gald your on this side of the surgery.
