:'( Super Fast Roller Coaster Ride

My surgery is set for Feb 28. Jumped on this roller coaster on Jan 12th. I tagged alonged on the initial consultation a friend was having for the surgery. Just to get an idea to see what it was all about. Decided to have it done myself. Has gotten insurance aproval, pre-op apointment on the 17th and had the mental evaluation yesterday. Begining to really get nervous and question it all.

Rick, I think I am on the same ride...I went to the seminar, then I thought about if for a couple weeks then made a consult appt on the 3rd week, my insurance okayed me in 7 days and my surgery is the 17th of feb...I am ready for this surgery more than you can imagine...good luck to you in whatever you decide... take care, Karen

Rick it is a great ride but be sure it is what you want not what someone else wants. It is a very serious surgery but a very rewarding surgery. I did not lose but 70lbs and I am still trying to lose more but I would have the surgery again in a minute if I had it to do over. I feel like a different person. I still have a long way to go but I just take one day at a time. Good luck on your journey most people have to deal with this feeling for 6 to 12 months getting everything set up and approved count yourself lucky. Mary from KY
