Is everyone cleaning their pipes?

had my surgery prep appointment at the hospital today with the nurse practitioner. I recieved my prescription for Flaygl, my two bottles of surgical scrub soap for the shower the night before and the day of surgery, and my instructions for purchasing and using the Fleet Phospho Soda. Who would have guessed that I would have to go to 4 pharmacies to get the little bottle of bowel prep! The first 3 pharmacies were sold out of it, and I took the last bottle at the 4th pharmacy. IS EVERYONE CLEANING THEIR PIPES? I'm really excited for the surgery, but starting to get a bit nervous. I woke up twice last night thinking about the surgery and had a hard time getting back to sleep. I guess it will probably get worse as the date gets closer, and I start my liquid diet. I just hope I don't get too neurotic or compulsively start to dwell on it like I sometimes can on some things

I can't imagine anyone taking that stuff unless they had to. Maybe there isn't much call for it, so it's hard to find. I bought the Walgreens brand here and it was on sale - like hoardes of people would come trampling through to get the bargain. Not. Jeanie DS 02/11/05

My doctor did not give me anything for bowel prep. He told me to take three tablespoons of Milk of Magnesia the day before in the a.m., and to have lots of fluids.
