Feb 7 Surgery Date and counting....Help

I am so happy I can hardley sit still, I have been spring cleaning to keep from going crazy. I want everything clean and cleared out when I come home. I was wondering if anyone has a good plan in place for protein, I do not like milk, so how are you getting your protein needs in??? I have some Isopure in the fruit flavors but it isn't that good. Anyone have some ideas for me. I need to get this in place before next Sunday.

And here I thought I was the only one Spring cleaning in January!! My oldest son and I got the kitchen sparkling clean last weekend and this weekend it's off to other rooms of the house. Seems like I have so much to do and no time to do it all (and I still have 2 weeks and 1 day until my surgery day!!). I have unflavored protein powder to add to foods and I have ordered some samples for protein drinks (ones that can be mixed with milk and ones that can be mixed with water). I have also ordered some protein snack bars (of course, not for early out) to help in later stages. Best of luck! Hugs, Kelly

They have unflavored protein??? That is what I will get, going to GNC tomorrow and get the B12 sublingual and Protein. Is there something you can take for hair? I heard that some people loose their hair. I have thin hair and can't afford to lose anymore. Does anyone have anything that helps? Thanks for the hugs and prayers they are very welcomed and glad to have this site to turn to. I don't have an angel yet so getting scared.... But happy at the same time.

hello debora glad to hear about your surgery date how long did it take you to get a date after your approval letter I got my approval letter 1-14-05 and still waiting on a date she said there were 30 more people in front of me

Hi Freda, I had a surgery date before I even had the approval, Then they even moved the surgery up by 10 days before the approval came. I feel very lucky to have the Doctor I do and to be going to Stanford it is an awesome hospital. How long have you been waiting for a surgery date?? I hope you get yours very soon and everything goes well and you are ready to start your new life. I will stay in touch and see how you are doing. Hi Debora. Congratulations on your upcoming surgery. Mine is schedule for the 8th and like you I've been cleaning like crazy. I want to come home and not have to do anything. For protein, I have OptiSource - strawberry and it is really good. You can also get the vitamins. You take 4 a day and that includes the b-12 and calcium. You can order online through Walgreens or Graebers. If you want more info., let me know.
