Ok first week-ers! Some of you had your surgery today, some will be going in in a few hours, and the rest of us are getting prepped. I probably won't be able to post for a while, but let's not lose this thread. Post back when you can everyone! Good luck to you all! ~~~~~~~~~ Jenny in Jamaica Dr. Aceves; lap RNY; Feb 5, 2005

Hello there fellow first week in Feb friends. I had my surgery on the first and came home on the 5th and am doing wonderfully. I had no complications, was off all pain meds by the second day, walked around and chatted with everbody I could and lost 17 lbs in the process. woohooo!!! and no high blood pressure. Is that cool or what?????? I am doing so well it is unbelievable. God is so great!!!!! I hope everybody who had their surgery is doing well and those who are getting ready, I wish you as serenity and trust. I can't believe how good I feel already. Of course the food commercials make me salivate but its all good. It is so good to be home and in my bed surrounded by my family and friends. Good luck and God bless you all.

Hi all I posted earlier on the 5th came home on the 4th and all was great! It is now the 20th day for me and I couldnt be happier. The head hunger is driving me nuts but this too should pass(I hope). Went to the Doctors and had my drain removed and was down 16 1/2 pounds I couldnt believe it. I am now down 24 pounds could never have done on my own, and would have given up diet by now never would have made it to 20 days. So looking forward to my egg next week. But to all who are waiting let me tell you for me that was the hardest part. After wards its just gravy, opps lol. Wish all my surgery mates a speedy recovery! Goldie
