Surgery dates Feb 1-7 post here!
Hello!
At 2pm on Feb 7 I will enter a whole new world!!! I am having my open RNY in Flint, MI at Hurley Medical Center with Dr Dabideen. Scared and nervous and excited all at once. I have two little girls that I am desperately afraid of leaving. I know I will be okay though, WE ALL WILL!!! Good luck to all!
Wow! More and more people are signing in! So far we have 28 people just in the first week of February! There's something comforting to me about knowing that Rhonda (Help Me Rhonda) and John (Reasor) will be having surgery the same day as me. It's sort of a bonding thing, no?

Hello to all the "soon" to be losers!!!! I'm Frances and I'm about to have the Lap Rny done on the 4th of Feb, 2005. I'm extremely nervous because all has come so quick and I've come to a rush since my husband is about to be deployed to Iraq on the 9th of Feb, 2005. I did all I could to have my procedure done prior to his deployment because I felt his support was needed and he has the ability of calming me during the high stress times. I'm still so nervous with not to many days to go. I still battle in the back of my mind if this is the right thing for me. I'm sure if it wasn't for me then I wouldn't have obtained insurance approval in a week from the date the request was initially sent in. Please keep us in your thoughts and prayers that all goes well. Best of luck to all of you during this time. Ya'll will be in my thougts and prayers for a timely recovery and future success after your big day!!!!
