A New Life begins February 7, 2005

Hello everyone!! I learned today that my insurance approved me for surgery!! I'm so excited, nervous, scared, anxious....gosh, everything all rolled into one!! I have absolutely no idea what it is like to be a healthy weight, no idea at all, so this is honestly a dream come true. What better early birthday present can I give myself? Privately I've already said this, but publicly I want to say it too......Thank you Lord!

It was a good day for us Kellys!! I got approved yesterday too! My date is Valentine's Day... what a gift of love for me!! We are going to do awesome!! New healthy life awaits us!! I know what you mean about all the emotions... can drive a crazy person sane again!! One day at a time is all I expect from myself at this point. Best of luck to you. Hi Kelly, We even spell our names the same too!! Best of luck to you on your surgery as well. Do you know what type you will be having? Mine will be laparoscopic. So, a valentines day surgery huh? Personally I hate valentines day LOL basically because I've never had a special someone on Valentine's day....I have a feeling, this will be my last year w/out a Valentine. Well, May the Luck of the Irish be with us! I know we'll do well, because our name means "Warrior Woman". Lets keep in touch! Kelly
