Why buy new clothes now?!!!

Hey, all you guys! Don't know about you, but I can never find enough nice clothes (you know, the ones that have some sex appeal or are chic and professional). Well, just had a new store open near me called Torrid, which has all these ******y clothes for BIG girls. Whatdyaknow...I was thinking of picking up a couple of items there, and then I was like, "What am I spending my money on?!!! I'm not going to FIT in these things in 4 months." And what about my favorite suit jacket that the drycleaners just shrunk two sizes? Hey, no big deal. I'll be able to wear that again in a little while anyway! Anyone else experiencing this, where you actually start thinking about nicer, smaller clothes and it's no longer such a pipe dream? Kimberly 256/238/125 2/14/2005

I have been feeling the same way! I was going to buy myself a couple new outfits to put under the tree for christmas and I thought I don't waste money on any more ugly big girl clothes. They really should make nicer clothes for size16 and up. I decided once I get into a size 12 I am gonna do a little shopping. It is becoming more of a reality everyday!! Stephanie 255/120

I know what you mean. Pulled a suit out of my crowed closet today and it was wrinkled. Usually don't want to Iron my dress suits but who cares if it shines. Hopefully will not even remember it by next Christmas. I love to shop but had severly curved it since going on this journey...... Can't wait until I can walk into a store and not look for X sizes.......

HI ... I was going to buy myself this really cute velour jumpsuit type outfit. It was really really cute.... I loved it.... first time in a LONG time I had seen something I actually LIKED!! But I changed my mind ... thinking I would be wasting my money since I am going to be having this WLS done Feb. 22nd.... figured I would stick it out in my "already in the closet" clothes.....LOL Merry Christmas!!
