February 8. 2004 is my date

i can't believe I finally have a date. It has been a long 1 1/2 years on Kaiser's waiting list. I have no complaints because I have been through the best Physical I have ever had. I lost 30lbs in the wait as instructed but now i have the Holidays to try and keep it off..... I put my surgery date on my computer so it will help me when I want to forget.......

This is so awesome!!! i am so happy for you!!! Even though we are on opposite sides of the USA at least we will be able to think about and pray for each other on that awesome and wonderful day!!! Congrats

I will keep you in my prayers Connie. I know all will go well for you. Hope to stay in touch and support each other. I'm not the least bit worried because I know everything will be fine. I have prayed for this but also asked the Lord to only let it happen if it's his will. I have a lot of support at work but every now and then someone wants to tell me a horror story they heard or saw on TV. I'll seen them all and know it is a risk for any surgery but it's a greater risk to carry over 300lbs each day. It's wonderful to talk to someone with the same date........ Congrats to you also...

Good luck to you tomorrow. I'll keep you in my prayers. It's good to keep in touch with someone with the same date. I'm not nervous yet but I am having a sudden eating problem. I don't know if it's the holidays or maybe I am nervous. Please Lord don't let me gain another ounce before my date......

You are also in my prayers (twin). We will have a new birthdate to celebrate because I know this is the beginning to a new improved life of healthy living for us. I do my pre-op on the 20th and had my long nails cut down today( I really hated that) . I am really ready and getting a little anxious. God Bless and keep you
