I agree, count it too. Running after kids have to exert a huge amount of energy. Mary

Denise, Of course you can count chasing after and playing with your preschooler! That's the best and funnest exercise known to man! I sure miss those days.... They grow up way too fast! Wanda

What a great accomplishment, Wanda. You should be very proud of yourself. Can I count chasing after my preschooler? Playing barbies, dancing, jumping on her trampoline and playing hide and seek? I should also get extra credit for being 7 months pregnant, right?!?!?!?!? I'm proud of you! Denise

I think I'll start posting what exercise I got in each day prior to my post. I have to admit, I got VERY slack in my exercise when it started turning cold outside, which around here was November. Posting each day will really hold me accountable for my exercise each day. Last night, I walked 3 miles. It took me 1 hour. My goal is to eventually walk 3 miles in 54 minutes. That's an 18 minute mile. Surely I can reach that goal! Did you get any exercise in yesterday?

Topic: RE: What are you doing today just for you?
I watched Law and Order SVU from my bed last night. I rarely get to retire early AND watch t.v. from the comfort of my bed. Today, I think I might do that again! Wanda

Topic: Let's get the board more active....
We all talk about how quiet the board is, well, let's do something about it. START POSTING!!!!! Your post doesn't have to be a mind binder/super thought provoking, even a comment or two or responding to other posts. We have a common bond here, we are all in the same part of your journey with being almost 2 years out. We have many common interests, goals, concerns. Why not start sharing them again. Let's bring the board back to life again ... it's my new year's challenge to each of you. Mary

What are you doing today just for you? It is so easy to put others first that sometimes we forget ourselves in the process. What are you doing today just for you? I made time to watch a movie, putting everything else aside. Usually I work my movies in around e-mails, work, etc. Mary

Topic: RE: What's your favorite High protein food?
Mary, My favorite source of protein food is still deli meat (roast beef, ham, turkey) wrapped in either swiss or pepperjack cheese. I've grown to despise protein shakes and really dread drinking them. I have to admit that since October, I've probably only had 4 protein shakes. I've been trying really hard to make it up with other sources of protein. I will have to try buffalo. We have a couple of Ruby Tuesdays restaurants in this area. I'll check it out! Christmas Day, my brother-in-law fixed bacon wrapped venison tenderloin. It was wonderful and I'm sure packed with protein. Wanda
