Topic: Pouch size
Just wondering... is it possible to shrink your pouch after you have stretched it and how? I know that after a while the pouch does stretch, of course not to the size that it use to be but that it does in fact stretch.

Unbelievable that the 25th will be my 2nd anniversary out from WLS. I feel wonderful and have no regrets that I had the surgery. It has given me my life back, and given me so much more freedom in life too.
Happy 2nd Birthday to everyone.

Denise,
I've been thinking of you here lately and wondering how you are doing. I'm so glad you posted!
My oldest daughter will be 21 on the 8th of February, but she was due Feb 22. She came (as did my youngest daughter) two weeks early and during a horrible ice storm (which is a MAJOR thing here in west Tennessee). We did not have a name for Maggie (youngest****il three days after she was born. Mark and I just couldn't come up with a name until we saw her.... and the name Maggie fits her to a T. Leah, our oldest, wasn't sure about her baby sibling's arrival either, but once we brought Maggie home, Leah was an angel and loved her "Mary Margaret" so much!
I wish you well on the delivery of your son! Please keep us posted on how you and your family are doing!!

Denise,
What an exciting time for you and your family. Do you know if you are having a boy or a girl? Picking a name has to be difficult.
When I was born my mom's doctor highly recommended that when they brought me home from the hospital that they also bring my sister a baby doll at the same time. That way when mom was taking care of me, my sister could be doing the same thing with her "baby".

Hi Mary - and everyone!!!!
I've been busy these last few months, but I still check in here daily.
I'm with Wanda, I love Chinese food...I don't dare try to cook it, but love to eat the stuff.
Things in my life are good. Today I am 36 weeks pregnant and am due to have my son via c-section on February 22. We are very excited and nervous and anxious and scared all at the same time. Our four year old daughter is not so sure that this baby "is going to be a good thing", we're working with her... I need to get organized and focused and I'm feeling some nesting insticts pretty distinctly now adays.
I still don't have a name for this baby and I am stressing a little bit. Well, I'm stressing a lot.
Hoping everyone is well and loving life and behaving.

Wanda, so glad to hear your daughter is doing well. You must be so proud of her and relieved that the real "girl" is shining through.
I have such high hopes for my daugher and hope that weight is something she never has to battle, like I did and still do.
Keep Smiling,
Denise

Wanda,
We went to a nice local Chinese restaurant. Only $4.50 each for a complete meal and it was soooooo good. I've never done Chinese myself except from a can or the mix for Egg Foo Young which I use to love to make. Just easier to go out and you are right, it does taste better too.
I have heard many on the UCLA list state that when they went back to the basics, that the dumping syndrome seem to be triggered again. It took 3 weeks of basics tho to do it. Then after the 3 weeks, DON'T even try sugar to see. Keep telling yourself it will make you sick. I know that I can dump and had it happen once by accident (didn't realize something has sugar added to it) and never want to go thru that again. Any way tho, I remind myself often that sugar will make me sick. I think the more my brains hears it the more reinforced it gets. It also keeps me from trying more than a bite of any sugar item.
Know you will do well. Keep us posted.
