Topic: RE: Where is everyone??????
I'm here.
I think we tried a few weeks ago to get things going on this board, but I don't think anybody was too interested in my walking each day. I'm still at it though!
I am truly thankful that I had my RNY 2 years ago. I would like to lose another 25 pounds, but am content where I am. I remember thinking before the surgery that I just wanted to be healthy... and here I am.
It seems like I can eat so much now. For example, lunch today was about 1 1/2 cups of homemade taco soup. To think not even one year ago, I probably couldn't have held over 3/4 of a cup. That scares me, but I think its the norm.
I miss everyone also!!! I've been thinking of Denise often in the last few weeks, wondering how she's feeling and if she's gone into labor yet. I think about Paula... we haven't heard from her in eons! I hope and pray she's okay. I also wonder about Julia... not to mention many others that used to post here. I guess everyone has moved on....
Its ALWAYS good to hear from you Mary! And I always enjoy Lee's posts! BTW Lee, I think if I tried to do some of the stuff you're probably doing in ballet, you'd have to rush me to the hospital to get my legs straightened back out! LOL
Hugs back,
Wanda

Lee,
Happy 2nd Anniversary!!!!!
Oh my gosh, ballet, kayaking ..... WOW. How AWESOME is all of that.
I agree, less time on the computer, more time outside living life. I know many read the boards often, so was trying to encourage more posting to keep this board active.
Have a great weekend, whatever you do.
Hugs,
Mary

Good Morning Mary
I am here, really busy these days with work..
I have started doing my childhood dream of learning ballet, talk about fun!!! now that im small enough to balance on my toes. and I am preparing for the kayaking season. I am looking foward to spening a lot of time outside this year, camping, swimming and kayaking.
It is so nice to be able to fit into a kayak again, a resturant chair and also rollercoaster seats!. plus so much more.
I am extreamly gratefull for this surgery and all it has given me.
I am grateful for this site and everyone on it.
I know when I post in a moment of despiration someone will always get back to me. I rely on you guys and Thank you for everything you have done for me.
Today is my two year anniversary.
And life is really just beginning..
So I am here, and I read.. and every so often I post, but it is also nice to know that we are all living ( I hope) such busy and wonderful lives that we really dont have the time to sit on our butts in front of a computer 24/7 anymore.
I love ya everyone here!

Here it is our anniversary month and hardly any one is posting. What's happening? Where is everyone?
Are you elated about your accomplishments the last 2 years? Are you feeling just OK? Are you feeling low?
Come on, we are all here to help celeberate, support, and hug each other in our journeys.
Speak up, let us know you are here too. Let us know how you are doing.
Hugs,
Mary

Topic: RE: Not Behaving...
please dont fret b/c you are not alone at all!! I struggle every day with my food and eating and drinking while Im eating...its such a process. I am working really hard to getting back to a protein shake for breakfast and lunch with a protein filled snack and then a healthy dinner. Its hard but slowly and steadly I am getting there. I have put on about 20lbs from where I was this time last yr and I beat myself up everytime I put on clothes that arent sweatpants. But I am glad I am not alone and I am glad I have a wonderful bunch of people on here to talk to and get support from!! Happy Anniversary!!
