Congratulations, Mary!!!
I did the same thing with Mark and he had to think for a minute before he realized the 11th was my 2nd anniversary.
You have truly been an inspiration for me and have ALWAYS helped in one way or the other when I needed it. Thank you!!!

Wow, Mary!!! I had no idea there were so many Feb04 members!!! I checked my name and am amazed that I've posted 290 times. If I had to guess, I would have thought that I had posted... at the most.... 50 times. What an eye opener!
Thanks, Wanda

Topic: Yup, 2 years...
Hard to believe it, but at noon I realized that 2 years ago I was waking up from anesthesia..
Like all of us, there's things that I could be doing better, I think, but overall, I'm happy that I have managed to maintain 100 lb weight loss and that my blood sugar is still in good control.
I do, however, want to get back on that nasssty old treadmill lol and work on getting my stamina up where it was before I stopped exercising; then see what happens to my weight as a result
Happy re-birthday to everyone else as well..

Happy 2nd re-birthday to you Annette! It doesn't seem like it should be two years already, does it? So glad you're doing well, other than the anemia. That is great news that your pouch is still small.
I no longer snore, my triglycerides are in the normal range now instead of almost 500, I can shop all day without my feet hurting, I cross my legs without even thinking about it... the list could go on. Life is grand!
Love, Wanda

Andi,
Thank you. It is amazing how quickly the time has gone and all the changes that have happened during that time for us too.
There have been a couple of people at support group meetings that the weight loss did not "cure" the sleep apnea. I had testing done 6 months after surgery. My surgeon and PCP both were adamant that I had to be restested. I have heard a few along the way that were allowed to give up their CPAP the minute they had surgery.
It is hard to consider any time of surgery. I do understand your reluntance to go to the ENT. I would highly encourage you to go tho. It might be better to know exactly what can and cannot be done. Then when all the facts before you, decide what is best for you.
Wishing you the best.
Mary
