All what you said are great things to do. I also found that if you do not buy anything but healthy foods to eat and no junk it helps to stay on track. If my kids are around they want junk they buy it themselves I do not. I do crave chips and chocolate chip cookies every now and then but make the cookies myself and eat a few chips from a very small bag to satisfy my cravings. I try and eat plenty of protein and veggies and fruits as often as I can. I gain and lose the same 3 or 4 lbs every month and feel my body is confy where it is, but want to get to 190. Am at 210 now. I water load a lot also and eat when I am hungry, but late night is now my biggest problem with grazing every hour. I usually eat natural popcorn. Which helps but then 1 hr later I am wanting something more. I exercise late and I wnt to eat afterwards. So I exercise early morning and start my water loading 1 hr after I eat. I also notice if I am busy or have something to do all day I don't graze and eat when I am hungry and stay away from foods that I do not need. Irish

Wanda, You're doing GREAT .... Keeping weight in check is great. I've been doing that too. What a relief. Now if I can just get it to start moving downwards again. Mary

Lee, I can't add anything to Mary's great and thorough advice. It does sound to me like this is probably not a physical problem, but it would be a good idea to get with your surgeon or doctor to make sure. I'm sure you are just so scared you might put some of your weight back on and this is your way of making sure you don't. Your profile says you take medication for depression... maybe you could check with your doctor that prescribes that medication. It might possibly have something to do with you not having an appitite. Sounds like you're doing great, Mary. Glad your hypnosis tapes are working. I stayed on track this week with my H2O and exercising. Keeping calories in check also. Don't see too much of a change in weight this week which I guess can be a good thing since its not going up! My goals this week will be to get my water and exercising in and watch what I eat. How did it get to be Friday already. This week sure has gone fast for me, how about for the rest of you??? Did my vitamins every day, exercised too. Started doing some self hypnosis tapes this week too to help with my staying on track with my eating. It says it can take up to 3 weeks for them to truly kick in. Must admit I really feel good after listening to them, they put you into a very relaxed state. Friends coming over on Sunday to celebrate one of their birthdays. Looking forward to it. My goals this week are to exercise, vitamins and to do my best to stay on track. How about you? Mary

Lee, I'm glad I can be of some help. I don't have all the answers, but I sure do care. This journey has been so full of so many twists, turns, changes, new awareness ... definitely an E ticket ride. Please keep posting, let us know how you are doing. Hugs, Mary

Mary, thanks for your words of support and ideas to get things back on track and you are right I should go and see someone about this.. I never thought about it being a controll thing and I can see that in my midset these days, I think its time I saw someone before this becomes a real problem..
