Bought two more colors of it tonight at the grocery store. One darker than I usually would wear. Hal really liked it, so its a keeper.

I am starting to tuck my shirts/blouses into my pants/skirts and even wearing belts now. That was definitely a no-no before. I even bought me some panty/girtle thingies that hold your tummy in. That would have been a waste of money 80 pounds ago.
I can't help with the lip stick question as I don't really wear lip stick much. I find that I drink so much water throughout the day, especially at work, that if I'm wearing lip stick, my industrial size mug look just awful with all the lip stick stains on it. So I just save the lip stick for special occasions.

Congratulations on your WOW moment! I hope you have many to come. I've had so many little WOW moments, but the one that sticks out most was when my husband and I finished laying about 500 square feet of ceramic tile. I laid each and every one of them myself. It took us about 2 months to finish. I just sat and cried when we finished, knowing there was no way I could have done it even 6 months ago. Mark was not able to get up and down on the floor, so he mixed the mortar for me and cut all the tile that needed cutting. I even grouted and sealed all of it. That was a huge WOW moment!

Lee, I found the Revlon lipstick last week. So far, so good. I am going to look into other colors of it.
Also was at the Home & Garden show yesterday and they had an awesome lipstick that was a lip dye with moisteriser (spelled incorrectly). It really looked great and could only be removed with a special remover. So many colors too HOWEVER it was loaded with herbal products etc and I have so many allergies to plants etc that I felt it might not be a good idea to try it.

I found that I too wear makeup now, and make an effort to look good for myself and for my husband, I love it when he comes home and see's me with a dress or skirt on (never wore those when I was bigger). He starts chanting "you're a girl' gurlie gurlie gurl.." with a huge grin on his face.
I get such a kick out of that.
Anyway as far as lipstick is concerned, I have found a Revlon one, it is a two part thingie you put on the color that stains your lips and a min later you put the gloss on, I have found that it will last all day if not longer, I hate those ones that you have to re-apply or touch up every half hour.

I'm finding as I lose weight, that I am making changes. I now am almost daily making the effort to put on make-up. I have found that bit by bit I am changing the style of clothes (more fitted rather than loose).
I'm also becoming obsessed with finding the perfect color of lipstick but it has to be one that will last. I dislike lipstick that you put on and an hour later is gone. Anyone found a brand they really like that really lasts?
What kind of changes are you making since surgery besides eating better and exercising?

Hey Mary and all, last night was my wow for the week.. I was putting so things away ing the hall closet , thats were hubby keeps his sweat shirts, and I was thinking ( usually a bad idea for me) I wonder if??? I looked thru them and found a 2x, most are 1x, and guess what it fit,,
I went into the den where he was on the phone and do they *turn 8 with arms on hips,, and his mouth dropped,, he told SIL on the phone shehas my shirt on, then he says to me,, * get my shirt off * he;s so funny,, he was smilling,, it felt so good, I have never been smaller than Ron and still not but I did get into one of his shirts, heehhe .. I was walking on cloud 9 ,

Just noticed that you asked about any wow moments well here is one. I went into Victoria Secrets and bought some underware and a new bra. Yep it has been years since I bought myself anything at all but to go in and actually get something like that WOW!!! 
I got some medium string and a new bra that they measured me for. I was treated so very nice and actually enjoyed shopping for myself. I had such a smile on my face and disbelief I couldn't believe the size I started in a size 20 panties.
I also fit much better in chairs now and don't have to sit on the edge and pour over the sides and get marks on my legs. Also my size for clothes is amazing I can't beleve it's me and still shrinking.
