Oh, Lee. Wonderful. It's a tad earlier than you had hoped! Great news. How long might you have to recover or how long until you know if the reversal was successful? I'm still not pregnant, but trying! Is it an easy procedure? Denise

Katherine, I was hoping you'd post today about your 'trip' and I'm glad to hear everything went well. I'm so very proud for you. As far as the exercise goes, I think you've earned a day off. My feet hurt the day after my half marathon so I didn't run until 2 days after, and that was just a little 3-mile run. Take care of yourself and here's to continued victories, both small and large. Whew! I'm glad to hear that I'm not alone! I head back to my surgeon one month from today for my check-up, so I'll mention it to her then! I' going to have to invest in some better gloves, or just start wearing multiple pair at the same time! Thanks everyone! Michelle -160 (and hoping for another 10 before my next appintment!)

Hi Lee, That is wonderful news. I sit here with goose bumps on my arms reading your post. What a great day to have a reversal on Valentine's Day. I'll keep all my fingers and toes crossed and say a prayer for you that all turns out well and you have a little one next year at this time. Take special care, Paula

Good morning, Debbie! Boy, have I been where you are! I had my hysterectomy three years ago, my fibroids were small the Gyna said......four the size of grapefruits and so painful. My heart really goes out to you in this. But there is good news really.....after healing from the surgery, the miserable monthlys were over, abdomen swellings, feet like balloons, ect. Don't give up on yourself with the weight loss......I went over 90 days with only a pound or two either way. I was so angry at myself that I couldn't even look in the mirror many weeks! But I didn't stop trying and finally the scale moved a little after a three month stretch. My physician's constantly remind me that after having a hysterectomy, three C-sects and impossible diabetes for so many years----my metabolism is kaput! I weighed 274 the day of surgery and 190 this morning. Praise be to God, I would have never made it at any weight if not for the surgery. Don't give up, lovely woman! There are some of us who pray for your recovery quickly and much success. There is power in prayer, I'm alive to prove it! God bless you, honey! Katherine

Good morning, everyone! First, thank you so much for your wonderful emails. Yesterday was incredibly awesome as well as exhausting, Hahaha! Feet hurt like the blazes, leg and calf muscles are sore and I am very pleased with our trip. We walked for 15.2 miles, 7 1/2 hours, taking two 30 minute breaks along the way. My sister met us along the way with hot chocolate (and protein powder) and fruit. (Please remember that this woman is almost 50 and still at 190 pounds!) I am still amazed that we accomplished it, I really am. The resturant where we landed finally had many many balloons for both of us and small gifts and a very loud and encouraging round of applause. The Lord was with us but I think we wore our guardian angels out! Hahaha! I told my neice who has dedicated this past year to these walks with me that I don't want to do it again (hahaha.....she laughed and I was serious----grin!) but what incredible memories we have made together. She is 20 years old and in wonderful health and just as pooped as her Auntie! God's hand kept us safe and literally carried me the last two miles, I really felt like I couldn't make it but we did. Today is resting up, giving thanks and............probably walking for my exercise. Hahahaha.....hey! Senity is not all that bad really! God bless you all! Love, Katherine
