I had the strangest pain all day yesterday. It was above the belly button and then spread some to the right. I think I may have had sympathy pains for you (or were you having sympathy pains for me???). I finally took 2 Tylenol and a Pepcid. It went away within the hour and hasn't come back. I had the pain for hours. Have no idea why or what caused it. Couldn't determine if it was tummy pains or muscle pains or ??? Did you strain a muscle maybe with lifting etc.? Any bulges like a hernia? Hope you feel better soon. If the pain continues definitely call the doctor. Mary

Delainya, Are you by chance talking about a lower body lift? I heard a plastic surgeon speak at a support group meeting. He did quite a few of those on WLS post-ops. It allowed the tummy, midrifts, buttocks etc to all be done during the same operation. They literally turn the patient during the surgery (he showed us slides of it) to do the full area. It was quite amazing. Here's a link to his website ... lots of photos (very detailed photos) and information there: http://www.drmazaheri.com/ Here's the link to the lower body lift: http://www.drmazaheri.com/lower.htm Mary

I hear ya on the Hypothyroidism!!!! I've had a borderline thyroid for the last few years. I've had period issues for the last 5 months (I;m on the pill) with getting my period for two weeks straight. Went to the gyno last night for an ultrasound and everything looks fine. Actually from having my period so much the lining of my uterus is so thin he told me to take a break from the pill so it can thicken up a lil bit. He told me when I go to the surgeon for my 1 year check up to make sure he does a thyroid test with the rest of my blood work. So we'll see.

I'm here. I come to the board a couple of times a day. We got 2 feet of snow the other day and today another 4-7 inches. I think we are in for a snowy winter. We might be getting more in a few days. When does it end???? Joanne
