Topic: Its my Re-Birthday
Well I am officially joining the birthday club. My surgery was on February 26, 2004.
I cant believe it has been a year already. I am so blessed that I was able to have this surgery. I want to thank all of you for the support during this past year.
I have lost 131 pounds from 316 down to 183. I cant believe it, I am 18 pounds from my goal. Went from a size 28 to a 12/14. Never in my life have I worn that size as I have always been over weight.
Today I am in a normal weight range and I cant believe it.
Now I am just kind of scared, I dont want old habits to return, some of them are and I know what I need to do, so as of today I will do it, I didnt go through this survery and this year to be a thinner healther person only to gain it back again. I refuse to do that to myself.
Once again thank to you all and good luck to the future losers!!!

Congratulations and happy anniversary, Lynda! I know what you mean when you say you're still a bit surprised when you spot yourself in a mirror. The same happens to me. Its so funny how our brains haven't caught up with our bodies. I wonder how long it will take to actually sink in?
You look wonderful!

Trisha,
Congratulations to you. This has been a year to remember. We all have been through so much pain and happiness together. I rejoice and feel pain when one of us is feeling and reeling.
You've done great and should be very proud of yourself.

You look great, Lynda. I want to try to go back to read some posts from a year ago to see what we were saying then and compare it to now. We've all done a great job.
Congratulations!

Topic: RE: Hi honey, I'm home!
I'm so glad you are home! I hope your trip was all you had hoped and you are packed full of memories.
So, now your reproductive plumbing is back in order and hopefully everything will work as planned. Still no pregnancy here! I think I need to start charting and taking my basal body temperature. My birthday is tomorrow and I'm getting older...I don't want to risk the health of another baby by getting too old.
Fill us in on your trip when you get a moment.

Happy Anniversary Mary. You've done a great job. I'm sure it hasn't been easy in your transition from moving to a new place and all the hassles that go along with building a new home and a new life.
we are all blessed to have you as our bright spot on this board. I love to read your encouraging, supportive words.
