Well I am officially joining the birthday club. My surgery was on February 26, 2004. I cant believe it has been a year already. I am so blessed that I was able to have this surgery. I want to thank all of you for the support during this past year. I have lost 131 pounds from 316 down to 183. I cant believe it, I am 18 pounds from my goal. Went from a size 28 to a 12/14. Never in my life have I worn that size as I have always been over weight. Today I am in a normal weight range and I cant believe it. Now I am just kind of scared, I dont want old habits to return, some of them are and I know what I need to do, so as of today I will do it, I didnt go through this survery and this year to be a thinner healther person only to gain it back again. I refuse to do that to myself. Once again thank to you all and good luck to the future losers!!! Dawn

Congratulations and happy anniversary, Lynda! I know what you mean when you say you're still a bit surprised when you spot yourself in a mirror. The same happens to me. Its so funny how our brains haven't caught up with our bodies. I wonder how long it will take to actually sink in? You look wonderful! Wanda

Oh hes beautiful How lucky you are. Id love to have more but I had a scary time with my 2nd due to weight and now the surgery yikes.We will just have to adopt. thanks for sharing photos
