Debbie,
Just wanted to say that you look great. I saw your new updated pic. on your profile.
How is the weight loss going? My loss is still slow and I actually have gained a few pounds and not lost much after my 7 month. I hope to be able to continue as you have, even if it is slowly.
Take Care,

Renie...I am so happy for you. It really is exciting to go down to a lower category of BMI. I rejoiced at each new junction b/c it seems the best way to indicate how my health improved. The pounds and inches lost are important for sure, but steadily going down from super morbidly obese to normal has been the way I measure my success.
Only 19 pounds until your goal. How exciting for you!!!.....Paula

Congratulations, Renie!!! You have done wonderful!!! I know how excited you are being "overweight". During one of my last visits with the nutritionist, she told me that my BMI put me in the catagory of overweight. I cried! I couldn't help myself.... I was SO HAPPY. You have done an awesome job! Thanks for sharing your happiness with us. It always makes me feel good to see each one of us so happy.

Topic: Just overweight...
Weighed this in AM at 169. Put that into the BMI calculator, which put me just on the outer fringes over "overweight", but I'll take it!! Haven't been at this weight in more years than I can count. More importantly, I'm healthy and feel great. Just wanted to share my happy moment with my fellow Februarians!!

Topic: RE: A tribute to my mom.
Hi Mary...I just wanted to let you know that my prayers are with you and your family. I know that losing your mom can really send you through a hoop, since I too lost both my parents (whom we loved also). I know that the Lord will continue to strengthen you and yours. Take comfort in knowing that she is resting in Jesus arms now. Stay encouraged and take care.
Topic: RE: Anyone have plastic surgery yet?
wow was reading your post and I guess it really depends on where you live as to cost. My friend in calif. paid 12,000 for body lift
and here in Oregon its going to be approx 8,000.oo for bodylift that includes thigh at the same surgery. The doc Ive chosen isnt the cheapest either just the best results from the work Ive seen and I know others that are going back to him for more. this whole search has been interesting

It is Sunday, but I'll still play.
1. Watch my 11 year old play baseball, frost my dear friends hair, hang with my kids, and attend Church and Sunday School.
2. April 1 - April 3rd. We went on a Marriage retreat in Gatlinburg. Never laughed so hard. You wouldn't have know we were a Church group.
3. I cried Christmas Eve, when I found out a friends 21 year old son froze to death, because he was passed out, outside. NOt a very close friend, but someone from highschool, but I still felt her pain, as I have a son that was his age.

1. No real plans. Altho I do need to find a pair of shoes (heels) to go with a long dress for a dinner/dance at the end of the month we are going to.
2. Laughing ... this week. Sharing stories of my family with Hal. Lots of reminiscing.
3. Crying ... on and off all week. My mom passed away Sunday and I miss her a great deal. The crying hits at the strangest times.
4. Description ... exhausted. (but OK, don't worry) Another word would be excited, as our home closes in 26 days. Can't wait to get moved in and settled.
5. Book ... big Harry Potter fan. Can't wait for the new book to be out this summer.
Have a great weekend too.
Mary
