I have no excuse for not posting a question. Pull out the wet noodles! I promise to post more questions in the future!
I know you're so excited, Mary, about your beautiful new home and I know you can't wait to get into that new pool! Hope your move is easy and not so tiring. Keep us posted.

Fall, definately fall. In NE Indiana, the winters are cold and gloomy, the summers hot and humid, and this spring....well, I don't think we're going to get spring. It's May 3rd and we have a freeze warning out for the next 3 days. ugh!
Fall, however, is spectacular here and I especially love the mid part of October when the leaves peak and I see God's hand in the beauty around every turn.
Hoping for Spring soon,
Julie

Its a tie for me between spring and fall. I am a big fan of the in between weather and the changing on the seasons around me!! PA springs are so nice but dont last very long and PA falls are the best...I love that smell!!

I had my last gyn visit until surgery. I was out of pocket and routine for the day. The next 5 weeks are jammed full of committments. We aren't ever home anymore.
I know you are excited about your new home. I just love the *smell* of construction.
We built our home 19 years ago, and we are in the process of redoing much of our home. It is amazing how my taste have changed.

I'm loving spring this year.
We have had such mild weather. A lot of rain, but we always need rain. I think I have enjoyed each season this year, because I can do more.

Thought I would go ahead and post the question of the day for Tuesday ...
What is your favorite season of the year and why?
I love the Spring time especially here in AZ. It is such beautiful weather, so that we can be out and about. I love the colors of spring and the rebirth that Spring brings not only to the land but to our spirits.
Have a wonderful day whatever you do.

What no volunteers for the question of the day on Monday. How can that be??????? I just knew one of you would post a question for the day. Come on friends, I am counting on you (but no pressure, honest).
I didn't have time to get on-line till tonight and it is now officially Tuesday as it is after midnight. We went down to check on our new home today. It was so exciting the shutters inside are now up. Our home is almost completed. Only 8 more days and its ours ... can't wait to be moved in and settled.

Topic: RE: Does anyone feel guilty?
Great post Julie.
I've been so busy lately and rarely on the boards, but I thought I'd answer this one.
I have many days of feeling guilty about the weight loss. I know my parents and sister need to lose weight. My mom has truly been working out a lot lately and I'm excited to see her soon. She started back into running after I did and is starting to train again. My folks used to run a lot years ago and were in much better health at that time.
My sister never really got into any exercise activities. It never hurt her until she had an apendectomy. She never regained her shape after that and I think just gave up trying.
I was always the fat one, now I'm the skinny one. My family doesn't ever say much, but that's fine with me. I don't need them to say anything. I rarely think of the surgery anymore except when someone refers me for information about it.
I guess what I feel bad about is that I'm able to a lot of the things that they only wish they could do.
Take Care,
Linn

It is very beautiful here and there is a lot of history in Memphis. I've lived here all my life and don't know what it would be like to live anywhere else. But to be honest, my husband and I have talked about wanting to live in east Tennessee. Its much prettier there. If it weren't for family ties here, we'd probably make the move.
We actually don't live in Memphis. We live in a little city called Bartlett that is just outside of Memphis; however, I work in downtown Memphis. I have worked in the criminal justice system for 25 years and, even though I'm at the federal level now, I still see the bad crime element of Memphis. I know that sounds awful of me to say and I know there is crime everywhere, but it seems to be getting worse here.
Other than that, Memphis is a great place to visit. We have a strong music heritage here and the people are generally very friendly. As I sit here, I look out my window and see the mighty Mississippi River flowing by....but I'd really rather be seeing the mountains.
Are you from Alabama? We love to go to Gulf Shores and Orange Beach. My aunt lives in Foley. It is so nice there!

I told my husband that Memphis would be a great place to live. I haven't been there, but was looking at the map. It is centrally located between several southern states. He went there to look at a bus for our Church, and said the part he visited was beautiful.
