Topic: RE: What vitamins are you taking now?
I had to stop my vitamins for the last two weeks because I am having surgery this wed. (my tonsils are coming out, they are straightening my septum, and roto-routering my sinuses). When I do take vitamins I take a womens formula multi-v, I try to eat two calcium chews/4 tums a day,I have started to use flaz seed oil in my food/fish oil pills (for the omega 3 & 6 b/c I really hate fish!), and I take a liquid B-12 when I remember!! I have no trouble swallowing pills. My guess would be to call your Dr and see what he thinks. sarah

I live 250 miles south of San Francisco and 250 miles north of Los Angeles...in California's central valley. Gas here is $2.49. The lowest I've seen is $2.43 and the most is $2.57. Terrible huh? Paula

Rhonda, This is what I take daily: multi-vitamin (Walmart's equate brand) 315 mg Calcium Citrate plus vitamin D I take these every other day: 5000 mcg B-12 (sublingual) 1000 mcg Biotin The only things required by my nutritionist is the multi-vitamin, B-12 and calcium citrate. I should really take more calcium but when I do, it binds me up and my nutritianist told me what I take is okay. I do try to take in extra calcium daily through dairy products. I take Biotin because it promotes healthy skin and hair. The bloodwork from my year check up came back with everything in the normal range. My iron is low though. I really should take an iron supplement. You may want to check with your doctor or nutritionist to see what's right for you. Hope this helps. Wanda

Hi everyone, I hope you all are doing well. Well, we are around 15 months out, and I was wondering what vitamins everyone is taking now? I have been on Flinstones and Tums since my surgery, but was wondering if I can possibly change to other kinds. I would love to hear from ya! Take care, Rhonda Carter -102 lbs

I think I heard gas prices are starting to drop. I know what you mean by going to another state to buy gas. Last week, my husband and I were coming home from a trip to Arkansas and saw gas there at one station at 1.94. I can remember when I first starting driving, gas ran about .69 a gallon. And that was in the mid/late 70's when we had our first huge gas increase.

Hey, Deb. Milk here at Walmart Neighborhood is 2.79 a gallon. You're so right about how they price gas. Makes no sense to me. There's probably some crazy explanation that goes back to when gas was first being sold.

currently, the prices are down to about $2.27, last week prices were up to $2.38. I did catch one day this week in Alma, MI at $2.10. I have been racking up the miles lately for work and usually will wait (if I can) til I get to another state to get gas. These prices are really hurting.
