Hello, Sarah and everyone else. I've been around.... just don't have anything to say worth reading. Same ole hum-drum around here.
It has been very hot here. Each day has been in the upper 90's and its so humid, its hard to breath at times. Thank goodness for air conditioning and a swimming pool. Unfortunately, the heat has not affected my appetite at all.
I'm still walking and riding my bike in the evenings when the sun is starting to set, and I do get out and swim a couple of laps about 4 or 5 times a week. Other than that, just taking it a day at a time.

Im here, I check in daily.. nothing happening, nothing new.
Not liking the heat much, mind you I never have liked the heat. so now I think im in big trouble, I dont like summer, I dont like winter, and Im not sure what happened to spring this year.. lol
Nice to see someone else is alive on this board.!

where is everyone? noone has been posting for the past couple of days so I figured I would try to get the fires burning again. How is everyone handling the hot weather? I dont do well in heat but we finally got a second air conditioner so its cool in my place for once and its great!! I can enjoy working from home now instead of loathe it! Also, I hate eating in the heat. All I want to eat is ice cream and ice pops and ice tea and really light foods like cereal. YIKES!! I try not to indulge too much.
How bout you all?

I hope you are resting comfortably since your surgeries. Did everything go as planned with the two surgeons? I can't imagine the headache of scheduling 2 surgeons apart by 1 1/2 hours. Very nice for you to have both together with only one anesthesia. I hope the doubled pain isn't too intense.
How long did the procedures take? When you feel up to it, please update us on your experience. I pray that you have a minimal amount of pain and that your recovery is uneventful and as expected.

I will go to the Hospital Thursday morning for my surgeries. I'm to be there at 5:15. I am the first procedure of the day. My gyn will start at 7:30 and then my PS is scheduled to start at 9:00. Please say a prayer for my surgeons, and my husband as he will have a very long wait in the waiting room. Oh, and by all means pray for me.

I gave up on a swimsuit this summer. I bought one on clearance at Belk's in November for $2.00, it is a tankini with a string bikini bottom I just simply wear shorts over the bottoms. I have a major problem with excess skin, the shorts bearly cover but oh well. I have also invested in a few sorong's. I wear a one piece bathing suit and wrap that sucker so tight you can't see the excess skin!!(LOL) Seriously, Wal-Mart has a great selection of swimsuits with both the surfer shorts or the little skirts it just depends on what you feel comfortable in. GOOD LUCK!!
