Noelle - I am so sorry to hear that this has happened to you. Was your doctor checking your blood levels for B1, B2, B6, etc? Your symptoms sound so much like what can happen when the various Bs get too low. I am sorry it took so long and did so much damage before you found an answer. I can understand why it took so long to post about it, you had your hands and life quite full dealing with it. You are in my thoughts and prayers that this is reversed and you will be on your way to a very healthy new you.

Hopefully they will be back posting soon. I think summer time is a time for so many to be out and about rather than at home inside. I know we have been busy with the new house, my niece being here for 2 weeks on vacation, and enjoying the pool. Not enough hours in the day.
I do miss everyone and hope all are well.

Sending you hugs and positive thoughts. I hope that you find some answers quickly. Sounds like you have been very proactive in getting in to your doctors and following up with them too.
The only thing I have heard to stop the weight loss is to add in more calories and carbs. I read your answer below about the carbs and your blood sugar problems.
Keep us in the loop. Hope you have answers soon.
