Hey Sarah, Glad you got things taken care of sooner rather than later. I'm trying to think, but I'm pretty sure it was a couple weeks before I really felt good again. I didn't run for an extra week because doing so still pulled on the scar site and was pretty tender. You'll feel good as new in no time! Thanks for the update, I was wondering how you were doing. Morning Fam!! I had my gallbladder taken out Wed. of last week. I had to go in pretending like it was an emergency but it was worth it. I went home the same night and have been recovering ever since. I am living on cereal, protein shakes, and pretzels b/c nothing else tastes good or it makes me sick to eat it. I am trying to work as we speak (I am a medical coder and am cleared to work from home all week) but I am still having a good amount of pain when I sit up too long so I am gonna need to go lay down in a few. Thank you all for your advice and concern!! How long did it take you to recover if you had yours out? They took mine out laproscopically and used my stab wounds from my bypass sx. thanks! sarah

Noelle, this is very scary. I'm glad you got some help before you were totally paralized. Please keep us updated on your health. Thank you for sharing the information. This surgery is still so scary to me. I wonder what I might be in for in the future. I imagine any health issue will always want to be linked to our WLS, even if it would have happend without WLS. I'm so sorry that you are having these problems. What do your Dr.'s want to do about this? My sister's SIL is having HBP and heart problems since her surgery. She will be nearly 3 year out. She is already below goal, and has had a TT. I pray you get things under control. Hugs, Debbie

Hi Julia, Hi gang! I'm waving from Alabama. I haven't had a whole lot of computer time. My 13 year old son, thinks he owns it. LOL He ties up the computer, and then immediately gets on the house phone, so I can't win for loosing. I have thought about getting dsl, or internet connection, but haven't wanted the extra expense. It is nice to be missed. I'm recovering as well as can be expected from my surgeries. I'm 4 weeks post op and finally standing straight in the mornings. I start slumping around noon. My upper abdomen starts swelling, and then my skin gets really tight. I hear this might go on for months. Sigh... I would definitely think hard about this surgery. I had a large panni, and wanted it gone, since I was already going to be cut. I'm glad it is gone, but it is a hard surgery. I really haven't even enjoyed being thinner, because I'm so sore, and numb. If you have the opportunity to get your abdominal muscles in shape you will save yourself lipo, and extra soreness. I don't know how much I could have done to get my muscles in shape as they were separated from so many pregnancies and being obese. Oh well, enough about me... I wonder where the other Kelly is too. Debbie
