You're great at coming up with these questions: I think it's your calling in life. "I heard that you've had WLS and I'm contemplating it, what do you think?" It's the best thing I've ever done for myself, but it's not for everyone and it's not as easy as it looks. It still takes work." How hot is it where you are right now? It's only 70! Yippee!! and we've finally had rain and even the grass is starting to look better. What made you smile today? That way I looked in the mirror this morning. Seriously!! This is one of those days when I went "Wow! I really AM thin!" Now tomorrow may be another story. Are you reading any books right now? :Praying God's Will for My Daughter (she's driving me crazy with some of her choices - she's 20) and Oedipus Rex for my college class. No time for light reading right now, but I've got a table full of stuff I'd like to get to. What TV show do you hate to miss? Some of the CSI's and Law & Order: SVU. I also like The Apprentice when it's on. Have you given anyone a compliment today? Not yet.

It's a familiar feeling. No loss since late January, but no gain either. I float back and forth over 3-4 pounds and it's an on-going struggle to stay aware of what I eat. My hair is falling out more again and so I'm once again, back to trying to push protein more. Everytime I let it slide, my hair reacts and it scares me to death. Wouldn't you think I'd have learned by now? Julie

I'm so glad you're back...we've missed you. Don't be so hard on yourself; we all go through times of making less than perfect choices. That's why we're here. The days I'm feeling down, someone else is feeling up and they pull me along with them and generally I leave here with a smile. Don't stay away so long... Julie

I'm glad you started this thread. re WLS: I would say that I wish I could have done it without surgery, but I am so much healthier and happier that I would recommend it, if they were like me and could not do it. re weather: It is so hot and humid. It is pure hazy here. I think it was in the high 90's but we expect a *cool* front in the low 90's. lol All five of my children grown and not so grown fighting over pizza. I just finished reading the last book in the Abrahms Daughter's series by Beverly Lewis. I don't have a schedule of shows that I have to watch, but have recently been catching the re runs of Becker and think that it is a really smart comedy. I do like to watch any of the Law and order shows, and HGTV decorating shows. Yes, I emailed a friend and told her how much she meant to the children in our church. She is always ready to take on any challenge and volunteer for all types of activities. Debbie

I just wanted to thank you all for your responses. It makes me feel so much better knowing that the mental struggles are there for all of us in one way or another. I didn't think I was going to have these problems, but it seems that no one is truly immune. Linn

Hi - OOOOOOOOHHHHHHHHHHHHHH. I'm so tired and I have really sore boobies. I feel like my energy is gone and I never get enough sleep. I wake after a good 9 hours of sleep and think I could use 3 more. Other than that I feel pretty good. My estimated due date is 2/26/06. i've been to my first pre-natal appointment and had an ultrasound. I got to see the little bean and the heartbeat and the little dance she/he did for daddy and I. still trying? charting your ovulation? Denise

My husband, made me coffee in bed this morning, and woke me with a kiss... he never does that.. yep. Sarah : Marek Halter and The Pampered Chef : Doris Christopher and Warren Buffett. Why is it we never only read one book.. lol Hell's Kitchen - I used to be a chef and it brings back memories and cracks me up. I also love all the CSI and other like programs.. Yes, I have the same struggles. Although I am in therapy for the second year I my head still haven't caught up with my body. Somedays I think I look just fine others I have to lose this and that. Will it ever caught up? Good question that I don't have the answer too. Good luck! Happy Wednesday! Shirley

If someone asked you this today, how would you respond? "I heard that you've had WLS and I'm contemplating it, what do you think?" It worked for me. I'm not the poster child for perfect post-op patient. I'd do it again in a heartbeat and my only regret is not doing it sooner. Go for it. How hot is it where you are right now? DAMN hot...93 with a heat index of 150! (well, maybe 97) What made you smile today? Seeing the extreme case of bed head on my 3 year old daughter this morning. Are you reading any books right now? Title, please. I'm reading 3 - The Secret Life of Bees, The DaVinci Code and The Heart is a Lonely Hunter What TV show do you hate to miss? Extreme Makeover - home edition & Seinfeld Re-runs & Sex in the City Re-runs - I miss them often Have you given anyone a compliment today? I told my boss that her dress was gorgeous. Denise
