Good Morning Everyone .... Don't forget to take a moment some time this week and check in with us and let us know how you are doing. Make this week a good week by making yourself the priority. How did you do this week? Are you reading to set goals? Remember to make them realistic. It's OK too if they are the same as before. You may post your weight too IF you want to. Mary

I really need to continue to work on getting my vitamins on a daily basis. Did better this week, but not daily. So this week that will be my goal. I exercised each day this last week. Really am enjoying Curves. Have company here from tonight till Monday morning. So it will be a busy weekend. Hope you are all doing GREAT. I went from 177 to 176 this past week, so only 2 more lbs to go to get to my low weight since surgery. Mary 305/176/???

Hello everybody. I haven't done that great this week. I haven't gotten any exercising in this week. I've just been so tired. I think its a combination of things: traveling last week, getting caught up at work, daughter's been home this week for spring break (and brought a puppy with her!), extra long "that time of the month", and I lost a dear friend yesterday (I'm so devastated since she was so healthy). I've been on the verge of crying all week!!! This is just not like me!!! I weighed myself this morning and the scale has barely moved. I weigh 183 even. I guess that's one good thing - I haven't gained any weight. Next week has got to be better!!! I'll stick to my water goal (which is so easy for me) and try to get some exercising in this following week, as I know that will make me feel better, both physically and mentally. Sorry to be such a downer..... but you all are such great support!!! Thanks for listening, Wanda

Wanda, I'm so sorry to hear of the loss of your dear friend. That has to be difficult to say the least. Sending you some hugs. Try to remember all the positive and wonderful times you spent with her. What kind of puppy did your daughter get? Puppies can be such fun and yet so much work too. Hope it is housebroken. If the puppy is at the chewing stage, ice cubes help. Our dogs have always loved them and got them thru their chewing stages pretty well. I think it is fantastic that you didn't gain any weight. I'm sure too "that time of the month" impacted your weight too and you will see a good loss very soon. Hang in ... I'm here if you need me. Hugs, Mary

Thanks for the hugs Mary. I am remembering all the positive and wonderful times I spent with my friend. She was one of my bunco buddies... we've been playing together for 15 years. There are 8 of us left in the group now, so we have each other to lean on. We're all just devastated! Leah brought home a Rat Terrier (Fiest). She weighes about 4 pounds right now... but she think she weighes at least 100!!! She's not housebroken yet but Leah has done a great job of taking her outside throughout the day. She doesn't chew on anything so far. I'll remember the ice cube trick in case she does start though. She gets along great with our Brittany Spaniel, but the Pomeranian could do without her. You've already made me feel better! Thanks!!! Wanda

Just checking in (whoo hoo - I actually made it on time this time - lol). I did great with my exercising this week & held strong with my 3 days of 1 1/2 hours of areobics (step & ab & core). I received my protein powder & bars from Susan Maria & got back seriously on the protein bandwagon. I also did great with my vits. Once again though, I stumbled when it came to my water. And I admit, I drank at least 2 sodas a day (evil things). All in all, I cried this morning when the scale moved up once again . . . if only a 1/2lb. I mean at this point I would be happy if I could just maintain. This is soooo frustrating!!!!

AC You are doing GREAT with your protein. That is fantastic. As far as the water goes, you will do better this week. One thing that may be impacting the weight is the sodas. They do contain salt/sodium unless you are drinking Diet Rite Cola which is sodium free. Getting more fluids in will definitely help your weight loss too. I'm so sorry that you felt so badly this morning. Don't allow the scale to make or break your day. Heck, it doesn't know that it is weigh in day for you. There are so many variables when we weigh and our weights can fluctuate too. It is not uncommon to go up or down 2 to 3 lbs daily. WOW, your exercise routine is AWESOME!!!! I'm so proud of you and hope you are too. You are an inspiration. Hugs, Mary

Hey I am checking in. I want to reflect on last week as I look back I stated that I wanted to take my vitamins on time and drink more fluids well I drank more but I don't have a set schedule and didn't do good with vitamins last week but this week it is my priority I already had a set this morning so far so good. Another thing I want to do is walk during my afternoon break atleast 3 days a week then work up to 4 then 5. I didn't weigh myself this week yet but I think that I gained a little, I feel bloated. I will wait till next week I don't want to see any high numbers and feel discouraged but will work on keeping numbers the same for now. Hope everyone else keeps up with the weekly check ins.
