Protein Shakes?

I've noticed that since about November, I've not been getting my protein in with shakes. I got to the point that I just couldn't make myself finish one. (Now why didn't I ever get that way with chocolate!!!) Do you still use protein shakes to get some of your protein in or do you get it all in with food?

I had gotten to the point I couldn't take it anymore with the protein. I get my protein from my food. Happy Wednesday! Shirley

It's kinda funny; my surgeon didn't want us doing shakes after week 6 for whatever reason.. Wanted us to try to get in our protein using food. I'll use bars for meal replacements when I can't manage to get to something decent (usually EAS Advantedge bars, because they tend to be lower carb and it doesn't take much to make me dump and/or start the blood sugar spike/crash roller coaster), but I haven't had much in the line of shakes... but that's the closest I'll usually end up to protein supplementing... That being said, I haven't measured what I take in in protein in an average day since... I can't honestly remember when. I probably should..

I use bars to supplement and actually like to have one at breakfast. I do sometimes do a shake with a banana and frozen berries added in, can't handle it plain. I make them thick like a milkshake when I make them by using frozen berries (unsweetened).
