What was the one piece of clothing you couldn't wait to get as a post op? Did you get it? I so wanted to be able to wear jeans or jean shorts. Yes, I got them both and love the jean shorts. Actually feel "cute" in them. LOL Such a different concept to feel cute. Mary

Mary, I wanted to be able to fit comfortably in a tankini swim suit and am now able to do so. I've got a picture that was taken this past summer with me in my back yard in the pool wearing my tankini. I had Mark take the picture so that I could put it on my profile but never got around to posting it. Hmmmm, where is that darned photo........... Wanda

Hello Mary, good question. I didn't have a specific piece of clothing in mind. For me, I didn't want to HAVE to buy all my clothes at a PLUS sized store. I haven't set foot in Lane Bryant or Avenue for over 1 year. THey do have very nice things, but I was limited to shopping ONLY there. I found triumph when I could actually shop in Coldwater Creek and bought a dress, size XL - not 3X or larger. I was giddy when I was able to go to Casual Corner Annex Woman and buy pants in a size 12W. Too bad they are closing forever in a few weeks. I bought my first LEVI's at Kohl's several months ago. My first ever LEVI's. Wow. Denise

"Real jeans". Not the plus or W jeans... a number, and that's it. My goal was 10. And yes.. I GOT THEM!! Am wearing them now as I type. And they were even a tad baggy when i took them STRAIGHT OUT OF THE DRYER!! (tooting my own horn here..lol)
