Hi guys, This link http://www.finishshots.com/raceinfo1.php?raceid=340 is to a proof of one of the pics taken at the race I just did. My race (bib) number is 108. The race went bad for me, but I did finish! My race time and rank are also listed. As an aside, you'll be able to tell I use a different name here. Linn

Hey Linn, You look so happy in the photo. Your family must be soo proud of your accomplishments. I am too. Doesn't matter how the race went, but you ran it...I am so impressed with your continuing commitment. I hope you are impressed by all your accomplishments as well. Isn't it wild to look at yourself in pictures and realize you look like the thin person you knew was in there all along? You look great. Way to go. Paula

Paula, What's funny is that I still see a big girl in the pic, but looking closer I do see the muscles and then I feel fine. Thank you for the encouragement. Sometimes it's really hard to keep it up. Linn

Thank you all for your replies. I'm always a little nervous to let people see pictures. Even though that was a tough race for me to do (the first 2 miles were uphill and I had to stop and walk twice), I'm starting to feel like I'm in better shape again. After the week off from my husband's problems in late June, it has taken quite a while to get back to where I was before all that. I did finally have a good run the other day - the kind where I run and feel like I could run forever. Those are the days that make all the other ones worthwhile. Thanks again for all your kind words!
