FINALLY -- PLATEAU BROKEN
Finally after 3 months I have broken the plateau. I lost two lbs this week and am at a new low of 176 lbs!!!!!! I'm so excited. I didn't think I would ever get below 178. That makes my loss so far a -129 lbs.
I haven't changed my eating, but think all the unpacking has had a significant impact. Millie (our dog) and I walk at least once a day too. Pool should be done this week so I plan to live in it this summer. This upped exercise should help too.

Congratulations! How exciting. It's nice to know that after all this time, it's still working.
I'm sure the packing, working around the house has helped to push your metabolism and the pool will probably be wonderful for you. I'm so jealous (of the pool)! We used to have one at a previous home and I just loved it. I miss it a great deal.
Yea....Mary!!! All the extra work and exercising is paying off. I would be just tickled pink if I got on the scale and it was two pounds lighter!
This past weekend, I started running in the pool. Our shallow end is fairly big and I just ran around that end for about 10 minutes. I could really feel it in my legs. I plan on doing that at least 4 to 5 times each week and maybe add more time as I go along. Its great exercise for my Lily (my pooch) because she loves to get in and swim along beside me while I run. She's my walking buddy also. She's the perfect exercise companion...always wants to go along and never complains!
