Question of the Day - Saturday

It is very beautiful here and there is a lot of history in Memphis. I've lived here all my life and don't know what it would be like to live anywhere else. But to be honest, my husband and I have talked about wanting to live in east Tennessee. Its much prettier there. If it weren't for family ties here, we'd probably make the move. We actually don't live in Memphis. We live in a little city called Bartlett that is just outside of Memphis; however, I work in downtown Memphis. I have worked in the criminal justice system for 25 years and, even though I'm at the federal level now, I still see the bad crime element of Memphis. I know that sounds awful of me to say and I know there is crime everywhere, but it seems to be getting worse here. Other than that, Memphis is a great place to visit. We have a strong music heritage here and the people are generally very friendly. As I sit here, I look out my window and see the mighty Mississippi River flowing by....but I'd really rather be seeing the mountains. Are you from Alabama? We love to go to Gulf Shores and Orange Beach. My aunt lives in Foley. It is so nice there! Wanda
