Question of the Day - Tuesday

Remember ahyone can post the question of the day. It is just a fun way to get some activity here on the board. What is your favorite color? Has it always been your favorite color? My favorite is purple. It has been my favorite since I was a little kid. Mary

Yellow or Green (any shade but neon lime). Yellow feels bright and light to me in the summer and warm and cozy in the winter. And I'm partial to any pastel shade.

Julia, We ordered a new sofa for our formal living room. It is a light jade green. Never had anything green before. Can't wait for the delivery to be made. Know it will look great. Right after we ordered ours, my girlfriend ordered a new sofa too and she also got green, just a tad darker than ours and a different style. She had never had green before either. Mary

Green is my favorite color.... like Julia, all shades but neon. It seems the older I get the more I like soft yellow, but green is still my favorite. Wanda

Yellow was always my mom's favorite. Since I have lost weight, I find that I have a number of yellow shirts now in my closet. Mary

I notice that since I've lost weight, there's not as much navy and black hanging in my closet. There are more fun, brighter colors! I even bought a blouse the other day that is colored "watermelon" and it's a beautiful color. Go figure!

I agree totally. Lots more color in my closet too. I think our mind finally accepts that we don't need black or navy to look "slimmer" cause we are really slimmer than ever before!!!! Mary

Me too. Today I'm wearing a bright red suit with white french cuffs and I love it! For spring, I've got things in hot pink, salmon, aqua and others. But I still find myself drifting towards bland clothes (blue/black/cream) and I have to remind myself that other people look great in bright colors and its okay for me to buy bright things. I guess it is mental conditioning.

I don't post often--just read. But I'll have to chime in with lime green. It has always been my favorite & I guess it always will be. Even when I weighed 315--I still wore it. Debbie 315/155/145 (hopefully) & 109"
