April Fool's Baby......

Well Friday is my 42nd Birthday......... It's my second one since my mom passed away just a few months after my 40th. We shared birthday months I am the first and she was the last day the 30th. We celebrated together and the last one together she tok me to Black Angus and gave me my ultamite favorite "Bath & Body Works" it was awsome. Thinking back though she was in horrible pain and my dad wheeled her in her wheelchair and she could hardly sit comfortable. I will always remember that. It's hard to celebrate your birth when the person who gave birth to you is gone It's just never going to be the same but my kids are trying hard to make it special. I have a upcoming surgery a total knee replacement on April 7th I am really nervous about it. My other knee needs it to but will have to waite. To many surgery's plus thinking of tummy tuck and legs, arms just a dream I guess. Any other April B-Days I wish you happy healthy ones Jill

I wish you a happy birthday, Jill, and hope you have a wonderful day! I know what you mean about missing your mother....especially on your birthday. I lost mine 7 years ago and miss her very much to this day. It has gotten easier though.... I can remember her always reminiscing my birth on my birthday. Now that I'm a mom, I find myself doing the same thing on my daughters' birthdays! Its funny how those things go.... Please do enjoy your day and enjoy remembering her! I also wish you the best on the 7th. I hope your total knee replacement goes well and you're up and running before you know it! My birthday isn't until August, but I did give birth to my youngest on March 31 (18 years ago). She was almost an April fools baby! Take care...... Wanda

Hi Jill...I hope you have a happy birthday on Friday. Your mom will be looking down on you and smiling. You have your memories of sharing birthday months. I was born on my mom's 37th birthday. As a child I always was jealous that I didn't have a day for myself. I never realized that the day would come when all I would have left are 53 happy memories of birthdays shared. This year will be rough I'm sure. Happy Birthday...Paula
