gained 5 pounds help!!!

Hi everyone!! I have had a rotten set back. I am a year out and have gained 5 pounds. I admit my eating has gotten out of hand. More stacking and bigger portions. I started Curves Friday and have gotten ahold of my eating. I am counting calories, fat and carbs and of course protein. I have also started really working on getting my water in. Please let me know if this has happened to anyone else and what you did to fix it. Thanks alot. Patty

Hello Patty, When this happens to me I go back to the basics.I eat a liquid diet for a few days an then gradually start eating solids again. Also I increase my protien an water in take. Take Care, Trisha

Patty, If you were doing more carbs they do cause your system to retain fluids. I know pre-surgery I could gain 5 lbs overnight if I overdid them. Many go back to the basics of protein shakes etc to get back on track. Curves is suppose to be a great way to get your exercise in. Heard many positives about it too. Mary

high protein, fiber go back to the basics. Don't be discouraged.More water fruit. you will be just fine. When you fill up on your protein you will not crave th sugar, that much. Tuna, cheese you can do it Girl
