Happy Anniversary to everyone!!
I'm sorry that I don't post much anymore. I do read everyday, but I don't have much computer time, and it takes forever for me to collect my thoughts enough to write anything. I'm so proud of all of you. Most of you have made it to goal or are very close.
I still have 19lbs to go, but I'm not worried about it. I dropped 5lbs. immediately after my iron infusion last month. I had started to gain, since Nov. but it was my body going into preservation mode. This is what the Hematologist and my gyn said. They were right. I go tomorrow for another iron infusion and Lupron injection.
I hope we can all continue to keep up the healthier lifestyle. I plan to start walking again, since my iron is building back up. I WILL get these last lbs. off.
Hugs,
Debbie
Hi Debbie, Happy Anniversary to you as well!
I hope your energy level is building back up to normal. It's so hard to do anything when you are soo tired. I never thought about it, but it makes sense that your body would vigorously hang on to what it has (iron) and not let any weight go. It's great that you lost 5 pounds that quick. That's alot at this stage of the game. I hope you lose more after the next infusion!!
You'll be at goal before you know it!!
Thanks for the update.
Paula

Hi Debbie;
I just read your profile, it only took me an hour (hahaha, only kidden). As i'm reading your story it sounds like my life. Your before and after picture is amazing!!!! You look TERRIFIC! What does your daughter say about the weight lose? I have two boys (9 and 4), they are so excited for me. I love getting dressed in the morning and they stare at me and tell me how beautiful i look....I love it.. I'm so glad I joined this web-site, it's giving me much hope and I think I can see the light at the end of the tunnel.
Thanks.
Lisa
