update on me

hello everyone I havent posted in awhile so how ya'll doin? well im doing wonderful. this month is my rebirthday on the 20th. I just had my year checkup with my surgen and hes very happy with my progress. as of today I have lost 161 lbs. I am down to 170lbs. he said I have lost just over 80% of my body weight. I have gone from a size 28/30 size clothes down to 10/12 pants and M M M M M M MEDIUM SHIRTS. I never thought i would ever say that in my life. I feel great too. I can chase these little monsters of mine down when they try to run from me lol. ok i must ask what is it with people now? I get told all the time you are getting to skinny. i am like no im not. I still see the 331lb person in the mirror . even today I went to my work to get a few things and i was wairing jeans and a teeshirt. this chick goes man your so skinny and pats me on my back and goes MY LAWRD. your all bones. well dont touch me then i told her haha. oh well i have rambled off enough about stuff lol have a great week Paula 331/170 -161

Paula, Awsome you should be very proud of yourself and it shour feels good. Even though it was anoying what your co-worker said it probley felt nice. I know people are starting to say that to me and I say the word skinny and my name have never gone together lol. Congratulations and Best Wishes, Jill

Thanks yeah i get that all the time now and i still not used to it. I work retail and the reactions i get from some people are so funny. I have this one guy who used to work with us. a few weeks ago I was standing outside the store and he drove by slamed on his breaks backed up and said omg its skinny!!!!!!!!!! now that felt good that i could make some guy slam on his breaks lol. yeah my husband is all over me too now sometimes it drives me nuts but I know he only means well lol.

Hey, Paula. You're doing great. I was at a meeting last week and a couple of guys were telling me how great I look and my husband better look out, blah, blah, blah. At home, my husband is always touching me and is so much more affectionate. I'm not complaining, believe me. It's all good. Some pants I bough about 1 1/2 months ago are getting a little big. I just checked out your profile, Paula...you've come a long way and you look fabulous. Congratulations. Denise

Paula, Congratulations...you're doing GREAT. I think people don't realize what they are saying and how it can be taken. Also sometimes they don't see us as we see ourselves or how we truly are. Preception can be so deceiving to all. I'm so proud of you. Mary
