1 year WLS anniversary

Hi ya'll!! Yesterday, 2/10, was my one year anniversary and I am sooooooooooo happy I chose to have the surgery!! I'm 132 lbs. less then this time last year and my life is so much better then it was prior to surgery in all ways, big & small!! I bought my first pair of high heels last week in about 15 years (don't expect to see me in them much, I prefer comfort over looks)!!! It's just nice to know I can wear them! I was hoping to get below 200 lbs. by my anniversary, but I'm still 4 lbs. away from that. I am getting ready to have my hernia and TT surgery on 2/18 and am working like crazy to get ahead of things at wor****ep trying to imagine myself without a tummy & it's very hard...had a big tummy ever since I can remember & I am 52! Happy anniversary to all of you and I hope things are as good for you as they are for me!!

Hi Darlene, First, let me say you look so young in your picture. I would never have guessed that you are 52. Congratulations on your 132 pound weight loss. How exciting that you can have the TT now. You'll have to keep us updated. I believe you might be the first of this group to have ps. I pray that you have an uneventful hernia repair and TT and that your recovery is quick and with minimal pain. Paula

Darlene, Happy Anniversary!!!! A small tummy is wonderful I'm sure. I've been heavy my whole life and am just now learning what it feels to be a normal size. I still have 50 lbs to go to reach goal. I'm also 52. Yes, things are going good for me too. Mary
