Good afternoon all, I too want to wish you all a happy rebirthday and continued success as you make your way down your weight loss journey. How much did you weigh a year ago: 219 Is that weight your highest weight: no What was your highest weight: 299 How much do you weigh today: 134 Do you plan to update your OH profile in this next week: yes What have you done with clothes that no longer fit: Gave them away. A little lady living in the middle of Mexico has a closet full of clothes (many different sizes) when she only had a couple of dresses before. Are you planning to vacation this year: Nothing planned yet. How do you feel about warmer weather approaching: I can't wait. Even though I live in California I have been soo cold and must daily wear long johns and undershirts - gets a bit cumbersome. I'm with you Denise - I look forward to shopping for summer clothes. Do you have any regrets since surgery: no What would you tell someone who is contemplating WLS: That it was right for me but they should really study both sides - yeah vs nay. Where do you live: Hanford, CA which is 200 miles south of San Francisco and 200 miles north of Los Angeles. How old are you? A young (and getting younger) 53!! Something you have done since your surgery that you wouldn't be able to do before. Ordered some jeans from JCPenney catalog and had to exchange them b/c they were WAY TOO BIG!! Greatest thing someone has said to you since losing your weight: I hadn't seen my son in 5 months and the minute he saw me he said "mom, you are too skinny". Weigh today? 147 update your OH profile in the next week? Nope. Gonna wait until after my yearly appointment - about 2 weeks. Clothing that no longer fits you? Donated to Goodwill (at least 5 garbage bags full). Vacation this year? Will probably head out to Phoenix once or twice this next year. No real vacation plans, though. Last year Vacation? Just little trips to visit my folks. No real vacation in many years. How do you feel about warmer weather? I love hot weather - I'm a big sun worshipper for the 2 months it's warm here. Any regrets since surgery? None whatsoever. Where do you live? The most beautiful state in the union - Montana. How old are you? 38 until the 25th Something you have done since your surgery that you wouldn't have been able to do before? Speak up for myself and what I want. Being smaller and much more physically able to do things has increased my confidence measurably (I grew a spine when I lost weight). Greatest thing someone has said to you since losing your weight? You still weigh that much! But you're so TINY. I know it sounds funny, but people think I only weigh about 120. How many inches have you lost? Never measured, but went from size 18-20 to a loose 6 (yep, the 6's are getting loose already and the scale remains firm!). The down side is I'm starting to not be able to shop in some of my favorite stores because I'm too small or too old. Who'd a thunk it! Linn

I didn't, but now that you mention it, it seems like a good idea! What have you done with clothing that no longer fits you? Donated all to the Salvation Army of a local shelter for the homeless. Are you planning to vacation this year? Yes, I am going on short cruise next week to celebrate several events... My 1 yr anniversary, my husband's birthday and our wedding anniversary (33 years) If so, where? Yes, Mexico! Last summer was so much easier since WLS, I'm sure this one will be even better since I've lost so much more, plus its so much easier to get around these days. Do you have any regrets since surgery? I was 240 pounds a year ago Im 125 today at 1 year clothes have gone to donations Vacation?Im saving for plastic surgery ,so not this year but next year its possible. I cant wait to go hiking swimming etc. No REGRETS for what I have done Go for it but research before you make a decision Im in Oregon Im 36

I plan on going to the amusement park and riding rides this summer as well. I can fit in normal seats. YAH!!!!! Greatest thing someone has said to you since losing your weight? I personally love when people don't recognize me. Many people are standing right next to me and don't recognize me. I love it.
