First...congratulations to all of you as you approach/pass your 1 year WLS anniversary. We'll have to tally our total weight loss sometime soon. Here are some questions for us to ponder. Yes, The Bahamas How do you feel about warmer weather approaching (I live in PA, where we experience all 4 seasons)? I've been so cold this winter and I'm looking forward to trying some new fashions in new colors that used to intimidate me before. Do you have any regrets since surgery? Hoping to see my pictures soon.....submitted Jan 17. What have you done with clothing that no longer fits you? Given it all away to friends. I did keep a pair of flannel pj's that are about to fall off of me, but are way too comfortable to part with. Are you planning to vacation this year? Yes..... don't know where yet. Last year vacation: March 2004, went to San Antonio, TX for work but stayed an extended time for site-seeing (family went along); April 2004, went to Gatlinburg, TN for work but stayed extended time for rest and relaxation with friends; July 2004, went to Gulf Shores, AL for week long family vacation (love the beach!). How do you feel about warmer weather approaching? Can't wait for it to warm up enough for us to open the pool (love to swim). Do you have any regrets since surgery? None at all. Already did. What have you done with clothing that no longer fits you? Gave away to friends, donated etc. Are you planning to vacation this year? No, because we are building a new home and planning to move into it in May. Also we just moved to AZ recently. How do you feel about warmer weather approaching (I live in PA, where we experience all 4 seasons)? Being a resident of CA and now AZ, warm weather if fine with me. In fact when we decided to move I voted for AZ because it was warmer than WA state. Do you have any regrets since surgery? Not at all. What would you tell someone who is contemplating WLS? Do your research, get a surgeon you feel comfortable with and have confidance in, attend support group meetings. Also do what you can to lose weight and exercise before surgery. What have you done with clothing that no longer fits you? given away to friends or taken to Goodwill. Are you planning to vacation this year? nothing planned but will probably get away at some point. i am starting a new job in a couple of weeks so no major time off for at least 6 months. How do you feel about warmer weather approaching (I live in PA, where we experience all 4 seasons)? i am sick of the cold yukky weather but a little concerned. i like having the form fittin sweaters of winter...they hide a lot of stuff. Do you have any regrets since surgery? NOOOOOOOO! What would you tell someone who is contemplating WLS? I would tell them to research research research and make their own decision. Where do you live?
