:dance I GOT A DATE AFTER BEING GIVEN THE RUN AROUNF I GOT A DATE FEB 8. Pls help how do i per pare what do i need to take with me i am haveing RNY- open. Should I have sex w/ my boyfirend to tie him through the drought. pls help me tell me the whole low down.

your doctor should give you some guidelines on how to prepare and what you should and should not do before surgery. For the 4 days I was in the hospital after lap RNY - I did nothing. I took magazines, maybe read 2 or 3. I stayed in my pajamas and brought my robe from home, because I was cold. take a pillow and a warm blanket if you think you'll need them. I was unable to do much. good luck Denise

Pamela, Congratulations on getting a date for surgery. There is a surgery message board for those who are going to have surgery in Feb 2005.
