Tummy Ache

I have a stomach ache, right above my belly button. It's annoying and I've had it off and on for the past few days. Not disabling, just annoying. I haven't really eaten anything out of the ordinary and I"m not constipated. I have my 1 year appt. on Feb 10, I can wait until then. I don't think it's worth calling the office....but I may if it continues. any others with this type of pain? Denise

I wonder, Denise, if you've caught some type of virus? If it doesn't go away in the next day or two, it wouldn't hurt to call your doc. Hope you get to feeling better. Keep us posted. Wanda

Denise, I also wonder if you've caught a bug. My husband was sick for 4-5 days with some sort of a belly bug. My belly hurt when I ran on Saturday, and that never happens, so I'm pretty suspicious. Linn

I had the strangest pain all day yesterday. It was above the belly button and then spread some to the right. I think I may have had sympathy pains for you (or were you having sympathy pains for me???). I finally took 2 Tylenol and a Pepcid. It went away within the hour and hasn't come back. I had the pain for hours. Have no idea why or what caused it. Couldn't determine if it was tummy pains or muscle pains or ??? Did you strain a muscle maybe with lifting etc.? Any bulges like a hernia? Hope you feel better soon. If the pain continues definitely call the doctor. Mary

thanks, Ladies for your ideas and well wishes. today I woke up with no ache at all. I'll assume it was a temporary inconvenience and I will mention it to the doc. when I see him in a few weeks. have a great day. brr, it's cold here today. Denise
