Hello! I don't post often because I deal with my slow weight loss/matabolism all by myself. I have not experienced the big weight losses that most have even since surgery. My surgery was 2/12/04 & last Friday I was finally down 102 lbs, today I'm up 8. I just got over my . but that never happened before. The only thing that I have done differently is increased my protien with Designer Whey & Protien Ice for the past 2 weeks because I thought after all these months that - that would boost my weight loss, lol. I exercise almost daily and most of the times get my fluids in. I'm running frantic right now because I don't know what's going on. Maybe, my body does not like the protien ??? Knowing my sensitive body, it's a possibility but I sure hope not. Because, after all these months I'm finally able to palate and mentally take these protien supplements. Any feed back would be appreciated. I'm very careful with the foods that I eat also. Thank you in advance for your help. Also, while I'm at it I might as well ask this to. I have about 110 to still loose. Do you feel that as long as we use the tool, stick with the program that we can continue to loose weight, even if it is slow. Although, that's all I have ever been was slow, lol. But I did loose a substantial amount 2 years prior to surgery.

Margaret, Congratulations on your weight loss. You really have done well. Weight gain can be caused by so many things and normally is temporary. For me, if I eat more carbs then usual I can put 3 to 5 lbs on overnight. If I don't drink 64 oz of water, I can see a weight gain. If I do more salt/sodium than normal I can see a gain too. Check the two new products and see if they are adding sodium to your diet, also the carb levels in both. They could be the culprit. If you have increased your exercise lately, you might be experiencing a gain in muscle mass which is actually good except that it can also cause you to experience a weight gain also. No real answers, just support. Stay on track, the weight loss will come. Mary

Margaret, My weight loss was slow. Besides the first big loss of 22 lbs I never lost more than 10 lbs a month. Some of us do that. I know that doesn't take the fear out of it. Don't deal with it alone. One is the lonliest number there is, according to the song. Keep sharing. It will help.
