Anyone else have really cold hands...
Hello--
I'm curious to see if anyone else is having this problem. Since my surgery my hands have become hyper sensitive to temperature changes. I realize I live in Western Pennsylvania, and it's about 15 degrees now, with a wind chill of about 5, but I was out for a walk at lunch time and I had my gloves on and my hands in my pockets, and my hands actually hurt they were so cold. My fingers were bright red, last evening I was putting stuff in my car and I had on these thick well insulated gloves and was only outside for a few minutes, and I had the same thing happen. I've noticed this over the past few months, but the last few days have been really made it apparent.
Anyone else having this situation? I'm not sure if it's related to my weight loss or just my body being weird!
Thanks!
Michelle
Hello Michelle,
I don't have problems with my hands.....its my feet that freeze. I wonder if the blood circulation in your body has changed in some sort of way. It's worth asking your doctor about. Sorry I couldn't be of more help. 15 degrees with a wind chill of 5? Burrrrrrrrrrrr!!!!!
Take care,

Hi there, Im out here on long Island and we had a wonderful high of 11 deg, with a windchill of between -10 and -15, its just really cold!, I think once it goes in 20 deg, I just concider it to be darn cold!.
I can relate with the hands, mine are always cold and I take great pride these days in sticking them up shirts and down anyones neck that is warm. My hands have been more places to find warmth since my surgery than they have ever been in my many years!
My feet seem to be okay for the most part as I wear two pairs of socks most of the time, but my hands I can never keep them warm.
Whats with that?!?!?!
Good Luck trying to find warmth this winter
Lee
Constantly! My hands are rarely warm and sometimes they actually hurt. I had some significant nerve/muscle damage to my left arm a couple of years ago and now that I've lost so much weight, my left hand looks very, very gaunt and is generally colder (even for others to touch) than my right.
I just make certain that I keep gloves handy every time I step outside the door.
BTW, it was a whopping ZERO here this morning! Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

Hi Michelle!
I have noticed this winter that i am cold most of the time, with my hands and feet being exceptionally cold. Yesterday i was outside with coat AND gloves and when i got inside and took my gloves off it felt like i had frost bite!
Even right now, in my toasty warm house, my fingers and toes are very cold!
I hope we both warm up soon!!

Michelle,
Yes I have the same problem my hands are like frozen popsicles and yes my feet get cold too. I live in AZ and travled to Idaho and was really cold. Even in the desert it's cold too. My hands are extremly dry and no lotion helps, I have spent alot on Loations to bad I don't have stock in the companies (haha).
Keep warm!! Jill
Whew! I'm glad to hear that I'm not alone! I head back to my surgeon one month from today for my check-up, so I'll mention it to her then! I' going to have to invest in some better gloves, or just start wearing multiple pair at the same time!
Thanks everyone!
Michelle
