Nice to see you here. You'll find that you, Lynn and I are all the same height, had surgery around the same time (you and I = same day, although mine was Lap instead of open) and we all weigh nearly the same. I'm the heaviest at 150, but close.
You will find this forum to be a warm and wonderful place full of alot of great people who have been wonderful friends and encouragers along the way these past 10 months.
Have a wonderful Christmas!
Julie
Originally I'd hoped (prayed) to get to 145 which is what I weighed when I got married 25 years ago, but now I'm thinking maybe 135 by the end of 18 months. I'm not in a big hurry and also, I'm fairly large framed and pretty bony already through the shoulders, chest, etc. so I might not look very good if I get too thin. I'm content right where I'm at. Life is so much better than I could have believed a year ago.
Next time Lynn posts, you'll have to ask her what her goal is..I can't recall. She's MUCH, MUCH better about the exercise than I am and I'm going to try to copy her after the holidays and get off my (much smaller) derriere.
(((hugs)))

Yes I was thinking the same after I reached my original goal of 150 but by me being only 10 months out I know that I will get much smaller. I excercise 6 days a week myself and now I am starting to get "SERIOUS" about Weight Training. I don't want to bulk up but I want to be as tight and toned as possible before I get my TT & ArmLift

Hi Alicia,
I've seen many of your posts on the main board and was wondering why you didn't join US more often. I'm glad to see you here.
I'm the Linn Julie is talking about who is also 5'4". I started as a relative lightweight at 241 and am weighing in at about 147 these days. My original goal was to be at 'ideal' which, according to the planner, is 134. I often state my goal as "130?" but don't really know if I want to get that small. People already think I only weigh 120! I guess I'll end up where I do, and think the running will determine where I stay. I wear medium tops and size 6 jeans now, but they have to be stretch or I can't fit my legs into them.
I became an avid runner and have run a 10K in October, had my gall bladder out (planned that surgery around the race) 3 days later, and am training for a half marathon in Mary's neck of the woods in January.
Happy holidays to you as well, and I'll look forward to hearing more from you.
Linn
