what a year I have had~!
you would not believe the year I just had~! or maybe you would
I had my bypass on February 11, 2004 and as of today I am down 188 lbs~! can you believe it. I weighed 456 at the start of my journey and I have worked really hard these last months. I started walking at the gym, one month out and in April hired a person trainer for an hour a week to help keep me motivated at the gym. On November 22nd I had a hernia removed and at the same time he removed all the extra skin and gave me a tummy tuck. That recooperation was alot harder than the bypass. But I am a couple of weeks out resting from the TT and I weighed in at 268 today. I never in a million years would of ever though this possible. I wanted to thank this site for being such a support to me through this whole process and thank all of you for being such great "friends"
Have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. I can wait for 2005, it is going to be the best year ever~!

Hi Lisa,
I had surgery on 2/11 as well - hi surgery twin!!
Congratulations on your 188 pound weight loss. In 10 months!! Amazing. I bet you were exited first when you got out of the 400's, then the 300's and working hard on the 200's. You really are using your "tool" wisely. I'm impressed with your commitment to exercise too.
Can I ask what you eat in a typical day? I'm sure you must have a good food plan. I could use some help in changing my boring diet!!
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you as well. I agree 2005 is going to be the best year ever.
