i think it will be a blast. i have asked a couple of friends if they are interested in taking the classes with me and they are excited also...but i am still going to do it by myself if they change their mind. i don't get on the board as much as i used to since it seems like i am never home anymore and only have time to check the board at work...but i was reflecting this morning that i can't believe we are almost at a year and that some of us have been chatting via the board for that amount of time. what a blessing this board and all of you are. better get to work..have a wonderful day! Kelly ps. i had some 9 month pictures taken and as soon as i have a free minute i am going to send one to the picture changing address....that picture is from 2 years ago....i can't believe how fat my face looks in old pictures....

HI Linda!! This post came at the perfect time!! I am dealing with this right now. Although I am bouncing around a little higher number (278-282) I am still bouncing!! I am back limiting my carbs and upping my water. The only carbs I get are from a daily orange. Good luck and remember you look GREAT!! Sarah G. -166

It's true! This is perfect timing and WOW did I need this! (I am a little jealous though that you are all weighing in so low((it's all relative I know)) but I guess I started higher). I am 9 months out, I have lost 170 pounds, I eat ONLY what I am supposed to in the correct amounts and I exercise 6 days a week for at least an hour. I know that things start to slow down as you get closer to goal and as you get further away from the surgery date. I know this and I still am SOOOOOOOOOOOO frustrated that I can hardly stand it. I am sitting on a plateau bigger than Mt. Rainier. I weigh 204 pounds and I have dreamed for years about being a hundred something person. This waiting is just making me crazy . Five lousy pounds... That's all I need to loose to get to a major party in my own head. I am normally pretty darn happy, thrilled and positive, but this is really getting to me. I called my dietician and she told me to increase my water intake and that she thinks this will move me along. So I am now spending my days running a path between my desk and the restroom. Good luck everyone with this stall in progress and don't let it get you down! Amy

I was looking around this morning before starting my day and found your post. I'm guessing this is really common for where we are. I have been losing weight slower for the past couple of months but I think it's normal. I don't think our bodies can handle too much weight loss too fast. It really sucks though. I weigh 198. I started out at 330lbs. At first I lost weight really fast but these last 25 lbs have been really slow. My family always says even if I lose 10 lbs a month from now on I will reach my goal weight in about 4 to 5 months. (Which after being over 300 lbs for more than 5 years, it's really not that long to wait.) Hang in there. I wish you all great losses in the New Year.

Hello Linda Try Drinking More Water, Getting In more Protein, And Changing Your Excercise Routine or Doing "MORE" Excerise. I was In The Same Boat You Were Girlfriend You Just Have To Go Back To Basics And Most Definatley Watch The "CARBS" Keep Your Carb Intake Between 25-35 Grams Per Day. Remember everything that says LOW CARB isn't necessarily LOW CARB so you have to read all the labels. I know it tedious but you should get in the habit of doing Hope This Helps You (((HUGS))) Alicia 280/145 (5 pounds passed goal)
