If any of you are having a problem with hair loss, this is for you. I have tried many different things for my hair. I found a hair, skin, and nail vitamin that WORKS. It is put out by KAL and it is called "Super Silica Plus" not the "Silica plus". I have been taking the vitamin along with my multi from the beginning. I guess at about 3 months out a i started noticing hair loss. I ran out of my KAL SUPER SILICA PLUS and tried another brand. within a few days my hair was really coming out fast. I got to the health food store and got back on the KAL. The hair loss slowed again. about one month ago i figured i was out enough to try a different kind of vitamin so here i go again. A few days later, I started noticing my hair coming out fast again. I went back and bought my KAL and never plan to be without it again. My hair is alot thinner but it has grown about three inches since February. The KAL products are guaranteed to dissolve within 30 minutes. The instructions say to take two a day. I take one in the am and one in the pm. I am a firm believer in this product line and have many friends who had the surgery and also take it faithfully. It is about $18 for a month supply but it is well worth it. Hope this helps. you all.

My hair loss was at it's greatest back in June/July/August. I got through it and now have lots of new growth happening. Thanks for the tip. I'll keep your tidbit for future reference. Denise

Fortunately I haven't had any hair loss. Knock on wood. I know how devastating it is though. When I had chemo after a mastectomy for breast cancer my hair was long and in braids. It started to come out in small amounts - then handfuls. I grieved the loss of my hair not my missing breastor even that I had cancer. Thankfully my hair grew back curly in the back! I'm glad you found a helpful lproduct and that you shared with the group. Paula
