9 Months Out Yesterday...Gallstones

Yesterday was my 9 month anniversary and wouldn't you know it I get the call that I have gallstones. Like it wasn't bad enough to have the ultrasound on Tuesday which happened to be my birthday now I have to have another surgery...just when my scars have almost vanished totally! On a happy note this finally explains the pain and odd feelings I have had for awhile that no one could explain. Like being so tired that I would pass out at 7pm and wake up only when the alarm went off at 6am the next morning and still be tired. At least I know why I hurt after eating and drinking now as well as off and on throughout the day and night! What fun, what fun! Have a great day...smiles! Tiff (Lap RNY 2/17/04; 245lbs: 160lbs)

Tiffany, I just had my gall bladder out last month, and I feel your pain. You're going to feel so much better when it's gone, though. By the way, my gall bladder scars are already faded away to about what the RNY scars are, so that shouldn't be too bad for you. It was also outpatient surgery and recovery was a breeze.
